"...Be not afraid of greatness: some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them." ~William Shakespeare

Good morning!

Our greatness can be expressed in many ways. It can be in the way we cook...be it a casserole...or an extravagant dinner, a hamburger or a steak, an artful salad or a lowly potato patty... banana boats or just a plate of fresh fruit...good food, lovingly prepared and artfully presented, is always nothing but great! Our greatness might be in the ability to comfort a crying child, help someone overcome a fear, or take a great stride in self-change.

Sometimes we think of greatness as "what is happening around us," without realizing all the greatness for which we are responsible.

Your turn: As you move throughout your day today, be conscious of the fact that you have the ability to turn the "good" to "great." Take a moment to reflect on 5 great things you did in the last week as well. When we take the time to praise ourselves for what we do well--we will naturally do more of it.

Your affirmation: I care enough to transform the good into the great.

And as always, don't forget to start your day with a heartfelt "Something great is going to happen today... I can't wait to see what it is!"

And when ending your day ask yourself, "What is one more thing I can do to make today matter?"
