"Our workday lives are filled with opportunities to bless others.
The power of a single glance or an encouraging smile must never be underestimated."
~G. Richard Rieger

Good morning!

As we head into the holiday weekend, let's remember the power of a glance and an encouraging smile. At a recent work meeting, our team was reviewing how 90% of communication is non-verbal.

What are you "saying" when you aren't "speaking"? Pay careful attention, as you might be surprised! When you aren't acting with positive intention, you leave room for negative interpretation.

Your turn: Pay attention to your non-verbal communication today. Work to increase your positive intention toward others through a smile or encouraging word. A simple thank you can warm the heart.

Your affirmation: I express my appreciation to those around me.

And as always, don't forget to start your day with a heartfelt "Something great is going to happen today... I can't wait to see what it is!"

And when ending your day ask yourself, "What is one more thing I can do to make today matter?"
