"How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and the strong. Because someday in life you will have been all of these."
~George Washington Carver

Good morning!

I love the simple and compassionate wisdom in these words. If each day, each of us could strive to be understanding versus judgmental and supportive versus selfish, what a different world we would live in.

The choices aren't difficult, and they often don't take more time or energy, it simply a matter of making that choice. The right choice always leaves us feeling better about ourselves and our world.

Your Turn: When our lives move at a hectic and fast pace, it is easy to forget that we always have a choice. As you go throughout your day, strive to be aware of the choices you make and to choose compassion, support and tenderness.

Your affirmation: I am compassionate, supportive and tender to those around me.

And as always, don't forget to start your day with a heartfelt "Something great is going to happen today... I can't wait to see what it is!"

And when ending your day ask yourself, "What is one more thing I can do to make today matter?"
