Good morning! I had an interesting conversation
about accomplishment with an old friend yesterday. He
was asking how I had managed to get where I am today,
despite many obstacles, hindrances and setbacks that
might detour "most" people.
I had never really thought about my life in those terms
so my answer was short and basic. "What's the
alternative?" I know now, and I've always known, that I
would never be happy if I let circumstance win. I have
dreams, ambitions and goals that are more important than
the obstacles that come my way. My devotion to my dreams
is unwavering.
Your turn:
Destiny is indeed a choice. If you choose not to create
your destiny--that is the choice to "default" and let
the world create it for you. Take today's quote to heart
and don't wait for the world to "roll your way."
Instead, take steps to make the life you want happen.
