There is no better way to thank God for your sight than by giving a helping hand to someone in the dark. Helen Keller

Good morning!  I have always been moved by the courage, strengths and compassion Helen Keller shared both in word and deed. She lived a life that many couldn't imagine (and many couldn't handle) and she lived her life with more passion and bravery then many of us who have more blessed lives do. Her words and quotes offer an insight into her guiding principles.

I find this quote profound and one I will remember daily. How rich we could make this world if we not only "give thanks" for our blessings, but "live thanks" for our blessings. While we can be thankful for our sight (or any blessing) let us also live thankfully by sharing our blessings. Need ideas on how to reach out and share with others? Visit www.volunteermatch.org

Your Turn: What are you grateful for? How can you "live thanks" as well as "give thanks"?

Affirmation: Today, I live and give thankfully.

And as always, don't forget to start your day with a heartfelt "Something great is going to happen today... I can't wait to see what it is!"

And when ending your day ask yourself, "What is one more thing I can do to make today matter?"
