"Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein."
H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

Good morning! I have a confession. I have used the excuse, "I just don't have enough time," in my life. I even said it last week when I was discussing why I was not pursuing my martial arts training. When I saw this quote I thought--whoa... reality check! When I say I "don't have enough time," it is really a copout for not knowing where to begin or not being passionate enough about the task at hand.

Excluding serious or terminal health ailments, one thing is constant -- we all have the same amount of time per day. We can choose to make the day matter, or we can choose to let the day go by--its potential unrealized.

This quote helped me to realize that I don't have a lack of time. I have the same amount of time as some of the world's geniuses. It is a matter of learning to work with the clock, instead of against it that matters the most.

If this quote rings all too true for you, consider enrolling in either our time management class (you can enroll any time) or our procrastination class

Your Turn:
How often have you used the excuse "I don't have enough time," in the past 30 days? How does today's quote make you feel?

Your Affirmation:
I create the time to do what matters.
